An Italian data center for SMEs is a facility in Italy where a small or medium business runs its cloud services, such as a VPS in Italy, or hosts its own servers, with a provider it can reach directly. Italians call it "zero kilometres", like food produced close to where it is eaten.
Direct support, with no intermediaries
When the data center and the company that runs it are in Italy, requests reach the people who manage your servers directly, in English or in Italian, and the emergency line answers around the clock. No reseller stands between your request and the systems engineer who handles it.
A strategic location: the province of Venice
Our own data center, Venice 1, is in Noventa di Piave, near Venice: building, vault and staff are ours. The Edge network data centers share a carrier-neutral fibre-optic backbone, with direct access to the main Italian internet exchange points.
Venice 1 is one of the ten data centers of our Edge network in Italy and Europe: the other nine are partner data centers, which bring workloads close to their users and allow replication between sites.
Your own servers, in a data center you can visit
If you would rather own the hardware, colocation in Italy hosts your servers and racks in the data centers of our Edge network. Before signing, the data center can be visited by appointment.
For an SME the point is a direct relationship: one provider, one contract and one phone number, wherever the workload runs. Where your data lives, and which laws can reach it, is data sovereignty. The company page describes who we are.
Emergency in progress?
Attack in progress or encrypted data: call the emergency line, it answers around the clock.
