The difference between Rackone SSD hosting and SSD PRO hosting is not the disk space, which can be the same, but the resources assigned to each account (vCPU and RAM) and the number of websites on the same server, which is limited on the PRO plans.
Is a domain included in the hosting plans?
Yes, a domain is included in Rackone hosting plans with the annual contract, with a choice of .it, .com, .eu and .net. If your domain is already registered elsewhere, you can ask us to transfer it.
Which control panel do the hosting plans use?
Every Rackone hosting plan uses the cPanel control panel. The reseller plans add WHM, the interface for creating hosting packages and managing separate cPanel accounts.
How do hosting prices and renewals work?
Rackone hosting prices are annual, VAT excluded, billed once a year. The renewal costs the same as the first year: there are no introductory prices that double when the plan expires.
Where is my website's data kept?
The data of a website on Rackone hosting stays in Italy. Our own data center is in Venice, and the Edge network includes partner data centers in Italy and Europe, with no transfers outside the EU.
Is Rackone hosting Linux or Windows?
Rackone web hosting is Linux hosting: the servers run CloudLinux OS, with Apache, PHP 8.x, MariaDB and MySQL, managed from cPanel. For applications that need Windows, such as ASP.NET, the right service is a Windows VPS.
